Location
La Channais is in northern Brittany, roughly equidistant from the lovely medieval town of Dinan and the attractive seaside resort of Dinard (see map). There are numerous ferry crossings to: Caen (2 hrs 30mins) Cherbourg (2 hrs 30mins) St Malo (30 mins)
There are daily flights from London Stansted to the small local airport of Dinard which is only 15 mins from the La Channais by car or taxi. For those who prefer to use the Channel Tunnel or shorter ferry routes from Dover, the drive time from Eastern French ports will be 5 – 6 hours excluding stops.
